Aloha Dear Friends,
We trust you all enjoyed this winter! The weather seemed to be extra snowy and cold on the mainland, which brought many of you to visit us on Kauai! We enjoyed a great winter; days a bit shorter and temperatures averaging around 70-80 degrees. Our tangelo tree was loaded and provided fresh juice along with a banner season of bananas and papayas picked from our trees to the breakfast table, yum! We have added many extras to every guest room; indoor slippers, luxury bath products: shampoo, conditioner, Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap, and Caribbean Escape body lotion. The tropical fruit pie is a huge delight in the mornings with our fresh ground coffee, fresh fruits, yogurt, pastries and oatmeal. Breakfast can be enjoyed at our garden tables or taken to your private lanai.
Steve reached a milestone of 30 years of owning and caring for the Garden Island Inn. This unique, artsy boutique hotel brings joy to us and those who stay here. Grateful to our friendly, fun, professional staff who have helped make this possible. We are thankful to you for staying with us in the past.
